Duties & Responsibilities
- Be able to work flexible hours including late shifts, week-ends and public holidays;
- Professional and well groomed;
- Be meticulous to detail when cleaning rooms;
- Vibrant and energetic personality;
- Be able to communicate very well in English;
Reliable and punctual.
- Follow-up on all uncollected room service trays in allocated section, ensuring prompt removal by the Room Service department.
- Making sure that all guest supplies and consumables are replenished and replaced where needed.
- Understanding/knowledge with regards to SOP (Standard Operating Processes) for various cleaning within the rooms i.e. bed making, mattress turning and vacuuming etc
- Report any maintenance issues and follow-up that it has been completed.
- Ensure the cleaning of your allocated section.
- Ensure that guest laundry is handed in for laundering in line with the with company policies and procedures.
- Ensuring the highest standard of cleanliness and service.
- Ensure that special requests are completed in accordance with the policies and procedures in place.
- Maintain a neat work area i.e. Corridors, walls, and floors in your allocated section.
- Ensure that the housekeeping storeroom in allocated section is kept clean and tidy.
About You:
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Multitasking skills.
- Strong oral communication and writing skills.
- Strong people skills.
- Good listening skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Qualifications
- Leadership ability.
- Room attedant experience 2 to 3 years advantageous.
- Grade 11 or 12.
