About the Company
The National Consumer Tribunal is an independent judicial body with offices throughout the Republic of South Africa. Its motive is to mediate in matters relating to credit and purchasers covered by the National Credit Act (NCA) and the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), and to preside over the disposition of claims against them. The Tribunal hears and determines applications and referrals including purchasers, credit suppliers, liability counsellors and credit agencies. The NCT accepts graduates in the following areas:

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Effective competitors will be involved and presented to all perspectives related to Finance issues, by providing financial and organizational support. Get and check requests and orders for products and companies. Check that records are in accordance with financial arrangements and methodologies. Cycle and capture journals. Perform some other Finance related capacities as required.

Money

  • 3 yr. Certificate or Degree capability in Finance

Library (to begin in July)

  • 3 yr. Certificate or Degree capability in Information and Records
  • No professional training required
  • Information on turn of events and upkeep of the record plan
  • Information on Registry cycles and strategies
  • Information on National Archives and Records Services Act of 1996
  • Information on Records Management (NARS) standards and rules

ICT

  • 3 yr. Certificate or Degree capability in IT
  • No professional training required
  • Submitted and committed
  • Students will be assigned to assist NCT's special staff in providing computer equipment, programming, and special assistance to various divisions within NCT, under the supervision of the ICT Manager and ICT office. KPA: Providing PC Hardware segment, supporting Windows 7, MS Office 2010, Pastel, VIP, and fulfilling screen Help Desk requests.

Tender loving care

  • Offering regulatory assistance to the Registry Unit. Opening new documents and replacing obsolete file covers. Ensuring that correspondence and other files are accurately referenced and delivered to the Court Member’s address. Recording files effectively, promptly and completely. Implementing and maintaining a new documentation framework. Maintaining open, destroyed and other Registry registers. Recovering, following up and retaining insight into document requests. Monitoring the progress of records held on and off site. Issuing and receiving case files and documents.

Prerequisites
Effective alumni will have outstanding scholarly records and will be individuals who are clear, persistent, enthusiastic, cooperative, and trustworthy.
