Job Advert Summary
We are seeking two (2) dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative: Emerging Market to join our team in Vryburg and Upington. The purpose of this role is to maximise the sales and visibility of Clover and Principal products within smaller retail outlets and informal trade channels. The successful candidates will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring consistent product availability and merchandising standards. This role plays a key part in expanding market reach, driving revenue growth, and strengthening brand presence in emerging and underserved markets.
About You:
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Valid Code 08 driver’s licence (essential)
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office)
- Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- A relevant qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management
- Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in a sales or FMCG environment, preferably within informal or emerging markets
- Grade 12 / Matric (essential)

Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete sales administration
- Liaise with customers at store level
- Sourcing and maintaining new business to develop active buying customer base
- Increase sales volumes in stores
- Prepare route plans and adhere to call cycles
- Introduce appropriate measures to address customer needs
Provide service to customers through sales processes
- Support customers with appropriate sales procedures
- Minimise stock returns
- Maintain facings
- Develop and maintain excellent customer relations
- Ensure constant stock availability
Monitor and report on sales volumes and pricing
- Implement negotiated prices
- Monitor and maintain fridge compliance
- Record and report on sales per outlet and product category
Optimise basket of Principal product
- Negotiate optimisation of basket
- Arrange launches and promotional material
- Introduce new products and Principals
