SAPS DPCI invites applications for Cleaner positions to maintain hygiene and cleanliness at provincial offices.
About You:
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Display competency in the post-specific functions.
- No previous convictions or cases pending.
- Subject to vetting, security screening, and fingerprint verification.
- Grade 10 qualification is advantageous.
- Able to read and write.
- Ability to operate elementary machines and equipment.
- Willing to work extended hours when necessary.
- Proficient in at least two official languages, one must be English.
- South African citizen.
- Basic literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
DUTIES:
- Perform routine tasks: dusting, polishing furniture/floors, removing refuse.
- Safekeep and handle cleaning materials.
- Load and unload goods.
- Perform garden maintenance services.
- Wash and clean state vehicles, kitchenware, and utensils.
- Mop tiled flooring and vacuum carpets.
- Clean bathrooms and kitchens.
- Maintain high levels of hygiene in and around the workplace.
