About You:

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

1. Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse
2. Proven nursing experience, preferably working with the elderly 
3. Current CPR/BLS certification
4. Basic knowledge of Discovery Health wellness assessments (advantageous)

Skills and Attributes

1. Excellent clinical assessment and nursing care planning skills
2. Proficient in conducting wellness checks, and chronic condition monitoring
3. Compassionate, patient-focused approach with a warm and empathetic manner
4. Confidence in home-based care and ability to adapt nursing services to the needs of mobile and frail patients
5. Comfortable using electronic health records and documentation tools
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team
7. High level of organisational and time management skills — able to work independently in a half-day structure

Specific Requirements:

1. Clear health record.
2. Clear criminal record.
3. Clear credit record.
4. Two written references.
5. Own reliable vehicle
