Responsibilities
- Perform all field and laboratory work including sampling, calculations and performing test methods accurately.
- To adhere to all quality and safety requirements of the SGS management system
- Responsible to perform any other reasonable task assigned by the authorized site supervisor/laboratory manager and regional manager.
- Ensure discipline within his/her assigned department
- To orally report any deviations, irregulateries and non-conformance's
- Responsible for cleaning up the site / workshop after task is completed or at the end of the day which comes first, where the job was carried out and make sure it's free off all consumables used to perform the job (masking tapes, tins, etc)

About You:
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Must be willing to relocate to Durban
- Proficiency in English.
- Be between the ages of 18-30
- Must be currently unemployed and have not yet been on a YES Program before
- Be a South African citizen (be able to produce a valid South African ID document)
- Must have no criminal record
- Minimum Grade 12 (with Mathematics and Science)
Skills and Competencies:
- Self-motivated and high level of initiative
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency in completing tasks.
- An affinity for data analysis
- Strong research skills
- Exceptional Computer Literacy (use of MS Office suite – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Exceptional organizational skills
