Job Description
- Our client is a well established medical devices company and they are looking to appoint a new National Consignment Stock Controller. The company is located in Midrand, Johannesburg.
The candidate will report to the Group Inventory Supervisor
Areas of Responsibility
- up and resolve consignment / short-term / kit / boot inventory discrepancies.
- AssAd-Hoc duties as and when required.
- Followisting with demo, sample, and expired stock to comply with Regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with consignment controllers nationally to ensure counts and reconciliations are performed timeously.
- Update and maintain consignment count records.
- Ensure expired inventory is uplifted from consignment bins.
- Liaise with sale representatives to obtain orders for missing inventory
- Update and maintain missing inventory records.
- Ensure slow moving inventory is rotated.
- Monthly progress reports to management on missing inventory.
- Review and sign off on consignment & boot inventory reconciliations.
About You:
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Qualifications in Logistics and Supply Chain or Finance will be a definite advantage.
- Grade 12 (Matric) is a minimum requirement;
Experience required
- Analytical thinker.
- Experience in Inventory Management, Control and Procedures in the Medical Device Industry will be advantageous.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office with advanced MS Excel is a requirement;
- Experience in ERP would be an advantage;
- Analytical skills and management experience;
- Experience in Consignment Stock Management would be an advantage;
- SQL & Microsoft ODBC would be an advantage;
