Job Description
CHAIRLIFT ASSISTANT X8 (Grading B2)
About You:
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Clear Criminal Record
- Personnel Chairlift Modules or training will be advantageous
- South African Citizenship
- Must have a Fitter Aide Certificate
- Proficient in English and any other of the 11 official languages
- Applicant must possess written and verbal communication skills
- Be able to work shifts
- 1-3 years’ experience as a Chairlift Assistant within a mining or industrialized environment will be advantageous
- Ability to adapt to change in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Grade 11 or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Adhere to MHSA standards & Gold1’s safety motto : “Nothing is so important that it cannot be done safely”
- Ensure that employees comply with safety protocols and use equipment properly.
- Practice and adhere to company policies and procedures
- Conduct regular inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Assist the chairlift operator with the safe operation and monitoring of chairlift systems.
