Duties & Responsibilities
- Mechanical Services Maintenance & Repairs
- Undertake Planned Preventative Tasks allocated by the Mechanical Services Team Leader / Foreman / Artisan.
- Undertake Re-active Tasks allocated by the Mechanical Services Team Leader / Foreman / Artisan.
- Ensure that best Operating Practice is applied when undertaking Maintenance Tasks / Repairs.
- Provide a list of required materials to Mechanical Services Technician to enable successful execution of Maintenance Tasks.
- Complete and issue job cards,ppms to Maintenance Foreman on a daily basis.
- All Staff to fully adhere to Tsebo House Rules and the Occupational Health & Safety (OSH) Act.
- Assist in keeping Workshop and plant rooms tidy and presentable.
- All maintenance tasks to be checked and signed off by the Maintenance Foreman to ensure that work has been executed at the required standard.
- Measurement of allocated Task in terms of response & restore times.
- Carry out any reasonable task allocated by the foreman or managers.
- Assist other departments when required. Available to perform standby duties and work overtime when required.
About You:
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Mechanical or relevant trade qualification
- Safety conscious
- Good knowledge air-conditioning units repairs and maintenance.
- Knowledge of tools and materials used in the assigned area of responsibility
- Ability to plan, organise and control own work efforts.
- Good Knowledge of the BMS system and DX controllers.
- Ability to repair and replace motors and bearings.
- Good communication and Peoples Skills.
- Excellent customer relation skills. Read, write & speak English
- Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Matric
- 2-3 years experience in similar environment
- Relevant trade qualification
