Reporting to the Contract Manager, the Arm Reaction Officer is responsible for monitoring the security operations for a client. Implement security regulations and rules to ensure a safe environment for employees and visitors of the client.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Use sounding alarms and other related devices to mobilise for assistance when it is essential
- Protect employees of the customer, visitors, buildings, & Movable Assets.
- Conduct regular patrolling of property.
- Monitor surveillance equipment.
- Inspect the plant, buildings & movable equipment
- Control access points; permitting entrance & egressEnsure that the equipment under own use is in a working condition through preventative maintenanceRespond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers
- Report irregularities inform violators of policy and procedures & restraining trespassers
- Ensure the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors and the premises
- Provide excellent customer service
- Adhere to all company service and operating standards
- Remain in compliance with local, provincial and national government regulations
- Control traffic by directing drivers
- Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures
- Protect the company’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues
- Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, property patrol, traffic control and accident investigations

- Grade 12
- Armed response certificate
- Tactical Training certificate as an added advantage
- PSIRA Grade A certificate
- Valid driver’s license
- Firearm Competency (Handgun)
